FAQ

Can I take KP with my medications?

KP is not a medicine. It is the first food. If you are allowed to eat healthy and eat green foods you can take KP.

I am allergic to shellfish. Can I take KP?

Yes. KP is not a sea creature. It is a plant. It is the food for shellfish; phytoplankton is not a shellfish. We have never had an allergic reaction since 2014. We understand this is a serious allergy. If you are concerned we advise to put a tiny drop on your tongue to test before consuming.

Can I take more than once a day?

Yes, there have been no reports of a toxic load. Always remember this is a highly nutritious food. Can you eat too much salad?

How long to notice results?

Some people notice a difference the next day. Some people a week and some people 3 weeks. Typically you’ll know if KP is for you or not within a month.

What is KP good for exactly?

If you have a health issue and it is rooted in malnourishment… that is what it is good for. Nutrition is healthy and life giving. It goes where it is needed. That is the beauty of KP. Everyone’s experience is different, but it has a “feeling” that is subtle but you’ll notice.

What is the nutrition composition of KP?

See the detailed nutritional profile and safety certificates (coming soon).

Why are you taking the primary food source from the ocean?

Good news! We grow from seed and grow more Phytoplankton than there was before. The leftover biomass goes back into the Atlantic Ocean. If you grow carrots from seed in a garden, you are not depleting the earth of carrots. We believe our facility is one of the most sustainable food growing facilities in the world.

Can I get this in tablets?

We are not doing tablets at this time. Although we know it’s convenient and popular, from our experience the powder is more effective and delivers the nutrition directly into your cells. Tablets and capsules generally need fillers.

Are you going back into Costco?

Costco was a great retailer and we appreciate them a lot! At this time we decided to go back to the grass roots and support our Independent Retailers. With less middlemen we can offer the lower price that everyone can afford. We understand there is a layer of convenience taken away but we are asking our customers to support the local vendors. Everyone wins when money is circulated locally.

Did Karen go out of business?

No, even though it was a hard decision we rebuilt our foundation to be more aligned with our philosophy. We grew too big too fast and with being in big chains and multiple partners the project became too corporate. It became more about satisfying spreadsheets which takes away from the ultimate goal of helping people one step at a time.

Someone online was saying they were the Karen replacement. Is that true?

No, we did not authorize a replacement or any communication that was not Karen. Unfortunately, an outside contractor that we let go took advantage of the Karen rebuild, used our trademarks, stole product out of our warehouse, and communicated with our customers as an imposter. We understand why someone would want to take a shortcut and pretend to be Karen but this was not us. Although this was unethical, we are taking the position that the market will correct itself. Castles made of sand fall into the sea eventually.
